Just a little over a month after speaking with Diane Sawyer, Caitlyn Jenner is now opening up to Vanity Fair. In an interview with writer Buzz Bissinger, Caitlyn describes how she's a whole lot nicer than Bruce. She tells the story of receiving a letter from a transgender woman in New York, saying that she called the woman after reading the letter. "Bruce never would have called her," says Caitlyn. She says that her son, Burt, even told her, “To be honest with you, I think Caitlyn is a lot better person than Bruce."

How else do the two differ? In the interview, Buzz says Bruce was the cheapest person he ever met, while Caitlyn is willing to send a plane so that her mom can come visit her (her mom hasn't met Caitlyn yet in person). "What I told her: 'Isn’t Caitlyn a much better friend?'" says Caitlyn. "Bruce, he would never send a plane. No, no, no, what a jerk the guy was."

In a poignant moment, Caityln says that being featured on the cover of Vanity Fair, in some ways, is even more special to him than his Olympic gold medal. "It’s not about the fanfare, it’s not about people cheering in the stadium, it’s not about going down the street and everybody giving you 'that a boy, Bruce,' pat on the back, okay," she says. "This is about your life and about who you are. And the last few days have been absolutely amazing, you know, I never thought, you know, that some day I’d be able to do this."
Bruce isn't the only one who's broken a world record; after joining Twitter yesterday, Caitlyn reached one million followers in just four hours, giving her the fastest-grossing Twitter account ever (Barack Obama previously held the record).
