Will you or won’t you change your last name when you get hitched? It’s a question that brides regularly ponder—and that they’re constantly asked—leading up to their Big Day.
But Zoe Saldana’s husband of two years, Italian painter and sculptor Marco Perego (who’s also father to the couple’s 6-month-old twin boys Cy and Bowie), seems to have turned that question on its head in a super adorable way.
Zoe is on the cover of InStyle’s July issue, and according to Refinery29, she told the publication that Marco took her last name after they tied the knot. "I tried to talk him out of it," Zoe told InStyle, per Refinery29. "If you use my name, you're going to be emasculated by your community of artists, by your Latin community of men, by the world." But apparently, Marco couldn’t have cared less. He responded, "Ah Zoe, I don't give a shit."
