The fifth grade chorus at P.S. 22 in Staten Island, New York, has played for President Obama and even performed with Katy Perry and Jennifer Hudson. This week, the super talented group dedicated their last performance of the school year to their teacher, Adriana Lopez, who has breast cancer, per ABC 7.
Check it out here (and get ready for an emotional experience):
The chorus performed Martina McBride's "I'm Gonna Love You Through It." Before they started singing, chorus director Gregg Breinberg Adriana said that he and the students were "so inspired by your fighting spirit that we wanted to give something back to you." Adriana said the support of her students means the world to her. "It's not easy, but I will get through it because I have wonderful friends at this school," she said after the performance.
We have chills hearing these kids sing for their teacher, don't you?
